PRIVATE PRACTICE

Psychotherapy

At the heart of Tara Abrol’s practice is the intersection of sexuality and trauma, treating both with depth, curiosity, and empowerment. Her approach is holistic, looking beyond sexual behaviors to how you relate, communicate, experience your body, and cultivate confidence.

Tara does not use a dysfunction-only model to treat sexuality. Instead, she helps clients:

  • Understand internalized messages and societal expectations about sexuality

  • Reframe self-criticism and cultivate self-acceptance

  • Work with “parts” related to specific behaviors or body areas

  • Use somatic techniques that allow the body and behavior to reveal new paths forward

Every clinical step—sexual or otherwise—is treated with the same respect and curiosity, offering a non-shaming, empowering pathway for growth.
